The Chess960 tournament is a 6 round Swiss, 15 mins + 5 secs, which will be held over two weeks, generally in April.
There are no prizes, but your name will be inscribed in the Wall of Fame below!
Julian developed the starting position random generator below which can be used for practising.
About Chess960 - the guidelines
This form of chess was introduced to the club by FM Simon Rutherford in 2023. It has grown in popularity since then and is a permanent part of the club calendar now.
