2013 Victorian Country Chess Championships

A new star has emerged. Doyin Fasakin who is a Pharmacist at Horsham arrived from Nigeria via WA 3 years ago. He drew with Stewart Booth and Bas Van Riel but defeated Mark Bruere, Nigel Barrow, Leigh Healey and Patrick. Nigel also managed to defeat Stewart in the final round.. more...

VRCL has a new cyber-home

The Victorian Rural Chess League which hosts the Victorian Country Championship annually in Castlemaine now has a home for news of past and future events.
